The MDT ACC Premier Gen 2 (Adjustable Core Competition) is an evolution of the industry-standard competition chassis, specifically redesigned to bridge the gap between the original Premier and the high-end Elite model. It is a modular, high-precision rifle chassis optimized for PRS (Precision Rifle Series) and NRL competition shooting.
 
Key Upgrades & Features
1. Enhanced Forend Design
Compact 15" Forend: Shortened from the original to better accommodate shorter barrels (minimum 17") and the growing rimfire competition market, while still remaining highly stable for centerfire builds.
 
Increased Rigidity: The forend is thicker, wider, and flatter than the Gen 1, effectively eliminating flex and torsion when loading into a tripod or barricade.
 
Integrated ARCA Rail: Features a full-length ARCA/RRS dovetail for seamless bipod and tripod adjustments.
 
2. Superior Stability & Weight Management
Modular Weight System: The "Core" of the ACC allows you to add up to 9 lbs of additional steel weights. You can fine-tune the balance point using:
 
Internal Forend Weights: Slide into the barrel channel.
External M-LOK Weights: Attach to the sides of the forend.
 
Buttstock Weights: To counter-balance heavy barrels.
 
Tall Barricade Stop: A taller, integrated stop (borrowed from the Elite series) provides a more secure point of contact against props and protects the magazine.
 
3. Ergonomics & Adjustment
SRS-X Lite Buttstock: Includes an adjustable cheek riser and length of pull (LOP) via spacers.
 
MDT Vertical Grip Premier: Features an adjustable grip angle and fore/aft positioning to perfectly time your trigger finger.
 
Wide Thumb Shelves: Larger, more ergonomic shelves on both sides of the action for a comfortable "bolt-flip" grip.
